Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your My Magic Pencil account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed — as required by the Google Play and Apple App Store data-deletion policies.
Delete it yourself, in the app
1. Open My Magic Pencil (web at https://www.mymagicpencil.com, or the mobile app) and sign in.
2. Open the menu (☰) → tap "Delete my account & data".
3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently.
What gets deleted
Your account (sign-in identity).
Every lesson you created or saved (removed from storage).
Your purchase records and your daily usage counters.
This is irreversible — there is no undo, and we cannot recover deleted lessons.
Delete only your data, and keep your account
If you'd rather clear your data without closing your account, you can:
1. Open My Magic Pencil (web at https://www.mymagicpencil.com, or the mobile app) and sign in.
2. Open the menu (☰) → tap "Delete my lessons & data".
3. Confirm. This deletes every lesson you created and your viewing history immediately, while your account stays active.
Kept in this case: your account, and any lessons you purchased from other creators (so you don't lose access to what you paid for). You can delete those too by deleting your whole account.
What may remain (and why)
Routine encrypted backups may retain data for a short period before being overwritten on their normal cycle.
Records we must keep for legal/accounting reasons (e.g. a record that a marketplace transaction occurred) are retained as required by law, without your personal profile.
Anonymous content fingerprints used to prevent piracy contain no personal information (only one-way hashes) and are kept to protect other creators.
Can't access your account?
Email support@mymagicpencil.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and data on your behalf, typically within 30 days.
